  • Better than Promark Hot Rods

So far, these seem to be more durable than the Promark Hot Rods. These are plastic. The wooden Hot Rods chip very easily and quickly. So far these show no signs of wear. They sound pretty good. I'm hitting the same as I would with regular sticks. The only complaint I have is that one of them came apart. The plastic strands fell out of the metal band they're attached to. I used some Gorilla glue to glue them back in. So far so good. I would recommend these over the Promarks.

Really like these for the 10 minutes the were in tact. Waa playing and the bristle section of one of the sticks went flying. Looks like they are glued into the metal sleeve. Also the metal sleeve had sharp edges so maybe some gaff tape would work if they hold up. Ended up purchasing the Meinl version which seem much better quality. Sound wise they seem a bit quieter than rods.

  • One of the best drum sticks I own.

I use them to play in a small setting and they have a crisp sound without being loud.

I received my order in a timely manner . Every item is great quality and sound. I spoke with Carl regarding a follow up and he went above and beyond most support teams. It's been a pleasant experience all doing .

Could I use these brush sticks as my main drumsticks even for louder performances because I am tired of denting my tom heads and shredding my wooden sticks.

No. These are brushes. They are not loud. They are not supposed to be.
