The speakON cable connectors are the industry-standard connectors for amplifier/loudspeaker connections. These 4-pole cable connectors are designed to operate in the high current, inductive load environment of loudspeakers. The cable connectors feature a robust plastic housing, the traditional Neutrik chuck type cable clamp, a unique locking principle and touch proof contacts.

    While at the store buying speaker cable I needed 4 Speakon connectors. Received 4 packs in the mail (two per pack). These connectors have small terminals on the back, smaller than standard wire lug connectors. The tab holes are very small, too small for 12 gauge speaker cable. Took a good deal of time finding a good wire termination (drilled out the tab holes).
