Description

The VHT Special 6 closed-back guitar speaker cabinet is assembled from high-grade birch ply that is finger-jointed at the seams for optimal resonance. Loaded with a 12" VHT ChromeBack speaker, the Special 6 closed-back cabinet is covered in black tolex with a VHT faceplate.

    I bought this because it was cheap. put a 100 watt JMP and Les Paul in it and i love the tone. it's warm and fat with no harshness. I originally was going to replace the speaker, i assumed it was cheap, but no way. I didn't have to do anything to it. I have been recording tracks with it, it's a keeper!

    Bought my 1x12 VHT cabinet used and then took it home and compared it to my Hughes and Kettner that I paid over #300 for and have to say that I'm hard pressed to hear any appreciable difference. It is slightly brighter and tighter than the HK. Sounds good at all volumes.

    We recently purchased this amp. I am totally new to this and even tho we purchased a cord to connect to the electric base we don't know how to turn it on.
