Mr. Greg Fessler has produced a truly divine fifty-nine Jazzmaster for us here! This guitar's unplugged resonance is amazing--it fills the room! When you do plug in, it speaks with an articulate yet complex voice. The attack is percussive and woody, and it gives way to lots of lush, blooming resonance. In the bridge position, the low-end is tight and well-mannered, the midrange has lots of pleasing snarl and bite, and the trebles are full of sweet, jangly, chiming overtones. By contrast, the neck pickup has a robust, full-bodied sound. The lows are warm and woody, the midrange is broad and full, and the trebles still have that open, sparkly sound.
