Vintage tone seekers, take note—the used 1979 BOSS OD-1 Overdrive pedal is here and in great condition. This legendary pedal was the first of its kind, introducing asymmetrical clipping for a warm, tube-like overdrive that helped define the sound of early rock and blues. Featuring the original silver screw chassis and Japan-made build quality, it runs on a 9V battery or ACA adapter and offers a straightforward interface with just Level and Overdrive knobs. Note, the check light on Boss pedals from this era is only a battery check, and is momentary upon the activation of the pedal.
