Ultimate Support

Description

The Ultimate Support GS-10 Pro Guitar Hanger is the most advanced you will find for slat wall mounting. While most guitar hangers sit perpendicular to the wall, the GS-10 Pro is set at an additional 15 degrees above perpendicular, making it even more secure than competing products.

The GS-10 Pro features the innovative self-closing yoke found on the best-selling GS-1000 Genesis Series guitar stand. When placed in the GS-10 Pro, the weight of an acoustic, electric or bass guitar automatically, and gently closes the yoke around the headstock, cradling it safely and securely.

As I was going to take a picture for this review, my guitar twisted inside the hanger and almost slipped out. I'm really lucky I was there to catch it. I would not trust these hangers for anything. Avoid. This has two serious design flaws. One is that the arm is too long and flexible, even with a relatively light 7 lb strat, the arm flexed so much it was pointing down, causing your guitar to slide down the hanger and rest on the guards. The other design flaw is that when you lift a guitar out of the hanger, the guards don't spring up all the way, making it quite a pain to thread your way through the opening. I bought seven of these I can't return, they are going in the trash.

How in the world do you mount it to the wall?

I apologize for the confusion. That isn't the GS-10. Thank you for pointing that out. I will pass it on to our web team.
