    It works just the why I hoped it would. It holds my Djembe in place and I can even put a little tilt on it so I can set it up with my hand drum set.

    My djembe is 7in diameter at the base. Will this stand work?

    The Tycoon Percussion Standard Djembe Stand is designed to hold djembes that are 11" to 13" in head diameter. Since your djembe has a 7-inch diameter at the base, it's likely too small for a snug fit in this particular stand. The stand may not be able to securely hold your drum without it wobbling or slipping, especially during energetic playing.

    Specs states this is for 11 and 13 inch djembe drums. Is this the measurement at the base of the djembe ? In other words, is this measurement the width of the bottom of the djembe ? Mine measures 9 inch diameter at bottom....
