The Trick Pro1-V ShortBoard Single Bass Drum Pedal is an engineering marvel. It features innovative design elements, aerospace materials - titanium, billet aluminum, stainless and hardened steel - and machined on the latest state-of-the-art CNC equipment. These technical innovations result in one thing: A pedal that plays like no other.

Compression Spring Technology
The Pro1-V utilizes an internally housed compression spring. Compression springs have the ability to "cycle" faster and utilize energy more efficiently. The benefit is a pedal that will react as fast as your foot. The compression spring works with the profiled cam follower to reduce the amount of spring tension build-up as the beater approaches the drum head; this gives you a more fluid stroke from beginning to end. Spring tension is adjustable while you're playing-simply turn the spring dial that's conveniently located within easy reach at the top of the main housing. Imagine no longer having to remove your pedal from the hoop to change tension settings.

Independent Split-Cam System
Because of the split-cam systems design, you can now change the attitude and attack of the pedal in seconds. Trick's fully independent split cam system allows the player to infinitely and independently adjust the beater from the drive cam angle with a 360-degree range of smooth yet solid settings. This system also allows for immediate conversion of the Pro1-V into a cocktail kit pedal or a triggering pedal.

Multi-Position Stroke Adjustment Cluster
This three position cluster is an integral part of the sophisticated geometry at work on the Pro1-V. It gives the player separate adjustments for the footboard angle, pedal action, and throw. This feature is patent pending.

Beaters
Universally adjustable, the Pro1-V Bass Drum Beaters can be easily moved to any height/angle along the titanium shafts within seconds by using a standard size drum key. This allows the beater to strike your desired location on any sized bass drum without radically affecting the overall pedal feel. Hard/Soft surface change-out options are also included with beaters.

Footboard
The Pro1-V footboard is machined from solid billet aluminum that is rigorously fracture tested to 12,000 pounds per square inch. The footboard is attached to the heel plate using a pressed-fit hardened solid steel pin which is extremely reliable and durable.

Base Plate
The Pro1-V base plate is machined from solid billet aluminum. This provides the Pro1-V pedal with an ultra sturdy platform on which everything else is built. The base plate is tensile strength certified to withstand over 12,000 PSI.

Slide-Trac Rapid Release Hoop Clamp
This multi-purpose feature streamlines your set-up time. To connect the Pro1-V to your bass drum, simply hold down on the spring loaded lever and slide the pedal onto your hoop and release! No more fumbling to screw and unscrew wing nuts. When it's time to pack up, simply squeeze down on the lever to disengage the clamp, remove your Pro 1-V pedal, and hit the road! The Slide-Trac has three memory set-screws so you can pre set your hoop size and distance from the head for fast set up and tear down, time after time. It also allows the Pro1-V to fit snugly and perfectly on any brand of bass drum hoop regardless of the width or thickness.

This is truly a pedal like no other. Experience the difference. Try one for yourself today.

  • Best Pedal That I Have Played So Far !

I understand that every musician has different preference as far as performance of each gear, depends on types of music one plays. For that reason, I would not say this is the best pedal out there. Iۡd rather say ۡThis is the best pedal that Iۡve played so farۡ, in terms of agility, ease of adjustability, and being able to control at the faster movement, while still adding very strong punch. When I played it for the first time, I felt that reaction of the pedal was as fast as ۡAxis Direct Link Pedalۡ. Usually when reaction is too fast as ۡAxisۡ or new ۡPearl Demon Pedalۡ, you might lose the control of the pedal as you speed up the movement of the pedal. However, I was able to maintain the control of the pedal as I was playing many of bass notes within short period of time. In spite of the smaller size of the beater compared to other conventional larger beaters, I was able to bring very strong punch. Even my sound engineer noticed that my bass drum sounded very punch compared to my previous pedal that I was using. Another feature that I enjoyed most was the tension adjusting knob. With this feature, I can quickly adjust the tension of the spring which is hidden inside of the cam. There is no messing with outside spring to adjust tension which could be very painful in live situation. I understand this is not a pedal that fits in a beginnerۡs price range; however, craftsmanship and overall performance ability are worth the price.

All I gotta say is that this pedal is very well built and looks really nice, but the performance was terrible. Definately not worth that price. I did not like it and went back to a tama pedal. I now have a tama power glide and its propably the best pedal out there, its fast , smooth, and powerful. If you want a good pedal go for a TAMA or DW.

  • Best Bass Drum Pedal On The Market

My new Trick Pro 1-V bass drum pedal is,without a doubt, the best bass drum pedal I have ever played! It's fast, smooth, silent, and the adjustment capabilities are practically infinite, giving me the ability to get that "like a glove" feel. A design suggestion to the manufacturer would be to round-off all sharp corners, even on the set screws, and bevel or round all edges. Thanks to Guitar Center for the lowest price I could find.
