Trick Dominator Double Bass Drum Pedal

Desighned - manufactured by the people who make Race Cars, These pedals give me ezer doubles instantly, compared to run of the mil 130 pedals. they are so smooth in comparison it feels like the pedal isnt even there and the notes just come out by magic, lol. The smooth feeling makes playing more enjoyable. bliss mode, like a shecter toxic venom is for guitar. after tones of internet research I hypothesize that the best pedals would be The Trick, Drumnetics, Tama Dyna-Sync, or ACD. I would start with the Trick and shoot it out against those if you want to find out.

This pedal is incredible. Would have been perfect. However it is too wide for Roland's new acoustic bass drum head.

This is the best pedal by far for anyone at any level of playing ,from beginner to pro.

The slave pedal does not stay in place slides all over floor. Pedals feel great but there is nothing stopping the left pedal from sliding. Ive had iron cobras and my last set was pearl demon drives and never had issues. Def need to address issue not sticking anything on the bottom of these pedals either. For what there charging this should not even be an issue. Returning today

Trick makes the most powerful and reliable pedals, hands down. The Dominator is easily the best double pedal on the market for the price. They ARE expensive, true. So why pay the price for these? 1. Zero maintenance, zero worry. I have had these pedals for 4 years now and they haven't needed to be touched. Just set them up proper so nothing gets bumped unhealthily and they are immortal. They work every bit as well as the day I got them. 2. The internal spring technology, unique to Trick's pedals, is genius. Not only does it create unparalleled smoothness in playing, it keeps the inner working mechanisms of the pedal shielded 24/7 so that the parts never degrade and absolutely nothing loosens up. No more buying new sets of pedals every 3 years. 3. Incredibly easy to adjust. The tick marks by the base of the beaters allow you to get each beater 100% even with the other. Spring tension is adjusted with a simple and elegant steel knob. The pedal can be taken off the drive shaft and converted into 2 separate pedals basically instantly. 4. A truly even feel. As I've already said, these pedals are extremely smooth and you can adjust them to be completely even with each other. This is great for a metal drummer like me who needs to maintain nice even double bass strokes. The drive shaft has the tiniest bit of latency, but good luck finding one with less latency. 5. Trick has fantastic customer service. They are reputed for going above and beyond to fix problems. One last thing I should note: Getting used to these isn't easy. I could not test them before buying. They are so smooth it actually makes faster playing easier and slower playing more difficult, IMO. Now that I'm used to them I expend very little energy when playing fast double bass or crazy patterns with one foot. It feels like walking on nothing almost. TL;DR These pedals are made with uncompromising quality. I give these a glowing recommendation because they incredibly fast, accurate and basically immortal.
