I've used only these PB 109s for 20 years.

Yeah...since 1999. These PB 109s stay in tune longer than any other manufacturer's strings that I've tried. They last quite a lot longer than others. They sound GREAT on my Schecter and through my Fender Champion 100. In all those years, I think I broke TWO (maybe 3) high E strings. So they're pretty tough; not prone to breaking. I know they're a little on the expensive end, but they ARE worth trying once. That's all it took for me to become a Thomastik-Infeld Power Brights junkie. I play the .09 set. Didn't know I'd like those until I tried them, either, by the way. I'm just saying give the Power Brights a chance.
