Comments about Thomastik JS110 Flatwound Extra Light Jazz Swing Guitar Strings:

The low E string broke near the tuner while installing.
In over 40 years of experience with guitars, this is the first time I have ever had a string break while installing. I would never have expected it with a thick low E string.
I attempted a picture submission but was rejected for size. It says " Images over 50 megabytes are not allowed ". My picture is only 8.7 Megabytes. I will try to get the broken string replaced at Guitar Center

Comments about Thomastik JS110 Flatwound Extra Light Jazz Swing Guitar Strings:

In 20 years of playing, I've broken plenty of strings right out of the package. The other reviewer must not change his strings much.

I discovered flat wound strings several years ago, and I will never go back. Thomasik flat wounds are infinitely more comfortable on the fingers than standard strings. The first time I played them, I got a perfect vintage 60s sound that I had been trying to get out of other strings for a lifetime. Use them on a Strat and my SG.

Highly recommend this brand of flat wound strings. You the man, Thomasik Infeld.
