I have a used Ibanez Artco Archtop that was maybe $550.00 new, these strings make it sound like a Gibson ES-175 when going through my Henriksen Jazzamp 110. They also last for years which makes them the most inexpensive guitar strings I have ever purchased in the long run. I'm a tone junkie and these strings sound give me that Kenny Burrell jazz sound. Thick, warm and rich. I find that having a light picking tec. and letting the amp make up the difference gives great tone and dynamics.
