I use for practicing, jamming and performances. They are great on both my Martin CEO 7 with an LR Baggs Anthem system and my Martin D Jr. e.

When new, these are the standard. Flat wound, so almost silent when sliding. Low tension - so easy to play it's like cheating - almost! Rich, warm tones. I've tried a lot of different strings and always come back to these. A little pricey but well worth it. Durability - about a month, when played every day. When they go, the brightness disappears in a hurry.
