    Horrible case. Just got mine in the mail. I wanted it as a backup case but it's so flimsy and thin I'm afraid to put my violin in it. Neither of my violins fit snug in the case. It is not fiber glass, well maybe it is, but it feels like cardboard. It bends easily and I'll be returning it soon.

    Love the color. Also it's really light. I've been lugging it around to gigs for the last couple of weeks and it's comfortable on my back or slung over my shoulder, although the little rubber feet sometimes dig into my back. It really smells horrible for a couple of weeks, but now it's tolerable. Plastic resin stink. But it's a pretty solid case, can hold music sheets inside, sheds water nicely, and my students are in love with it. it's not real sturdy, doesn't have a lot of padding, but for the price it's great. FYI, took Guitar Center a month and a half to ship the case.

    I was disappointed because I was expecting to get a fiberglass shell. Something that would withstand being piled into a van with equipment. It is very light weight so in that regard it is great for carrying. Just not the 'fiercely protective" case they advertised. My light weight oblong bobble lock case I provides much better protection.

  • This case is well made, especially noted are the handles.
