I bought this pedal thinking it would be great but I was wrong....The speed is there with the double sure but when you want to play with single it is very slow. I can play much faster with my old single chain drive. If you like a gimmick pedal to show off to your friends it is great but if you are serious spend your money elsewhere.

If you are not willing to work with this pedal you will be very disappointed. It will take you some time to get it adjusted to your liking, but if you don't give up, you will reap the benefits. when properly adjusted this pedal will hold it own against any true double pedal drummer period. it does 8th and 16th note beats and rolls with ease. just please remember it takes awhile to get it right. Believe it or not there are a lot of different adjustments for this pedal. This isn't a plug and play pedal.

well i bought this pedal because my friends and i have been dreaming of this thing, but when i started using it, the second beater would lock up and i would have to adjust it every time i played. by the time i had it fully adjusted to the point where it wouldnt lock up it now hits my feet when i play. so i would say dont buy this... ever. also you can probably go faster on a double pedal regardless of your skill lvl. im trading this in the buy a DW 7000 Double Bass pedal. Oh and the pedal is made of like plastic so yeah and its far too pricy for what it is. oh and it doesnt come with those beaters. it comes with awful plastic ones

This pedal is worth the price. Especially for very double kick happy bands who's drummer needs a little more speed and versatility. Also i love when i play different styles i'm able to switch from single to double. I only wish that it had some type of speed adjustment. Otherwise it's awesome.

While it defintely takes time to get used to this pedal, with some good practice it will be your best friend! You can even double them up and have quad base sounds. But like I said, these take TIME to get used to, I wouldnt recommend to someone who's just starting out.
