Amazing!!!
I hated the fact I couldn't adjust the volume of my acoustic on the fly while performing on stage. I never have to rely on sound guys anymore to boost my volume levels up or drop them off. Great product!

Very disappointed
I was deeply disappointed when I recieved the Vcable I ordered, It was a used cable and it was filthy with sticky stuff over the cable end and the plug and worst of all it didn't work. Also the first person I talked to at Guitar Center about the issue was rude, then he put me on to a manager, and I finally got him to send me a new cable, so I hope this one works and is clean inside the bag, which the first one wasn't

Gigging. The coolest thing about this cable is you can shut it off and unplug it without a "pop".

After reading the reviews I guess there'll always be "lemons" that come with mass production! Having said that, I've had mine for about 4 years and still works as good as the first time I plugged her in and creamed my jeans! They need to build one with no cord that I can plug my Xvive wireless into an' that'd be the cat's meow for me!

I gig with two acoustic guitars and a ukulele. I use the same cable and switch instruments. One guitar has a soundhole pickup (no pre-amp), one guitar and the uke have under saddle pickups with onboard pre-amps with Volume and EQ. This cable works on all three. At soundcheck I set the volume on the cable to max and dial in the pre-amp EQs for those instruments. On the fly, I have to adjust the volume on the cable for the soundhole pickup guitar. The added bonus of this cable is that it has a shut off that clicks in place. When shut off, this cable can be disconnected without shutting down at the amp or PA. No pop, no crack, nada. Plug it in to the next instrument, turn it on, turn it up and GO! It's extremely convenient. Take care not to bump it while playing and accidentally turn it up or down. Buy one plenty long.

Worked for a while. The knob was always too loose. Tried to tighten but stayed loose. Then just started making noise when touched pushed etc.

Great cable if you have an acoustic with a p/u but no volume control. This way the guy running the board can't control you. Haha! And it's on clearance. Get one before their gone.

I am submitting this question again. I have a guitar with a martin pickup with no volume control. The pickup is extremely hot. I bought an acoustic ADPI acoustic preamp from GC to help with volume control and equalization of tone. With this, the Martin pickup is so hot that the input gain on the preamp has to be turned down to almost nothing. Would the Taylor V-cable with volume control cut down on the "hot pickup" to increase the input volume on the preamp to allow for more control on the preamp to the sound system?
This may require some back and forth to get an answer for. Give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can get you an answer.submitted5 years ago

I have an acoustic guitar with a Martin bridge pickup with no volume control. I purchased an APDI acoustic preamp to control the volume and EQ on the instrument. Unlike many pickups that have very low output, this one is very hot. I have to turn down the input gain to almost nothing. My question is, will the Taylor V-cable volume control, control the pickup out put to the input gain to the APDI and allow better adjustment to the preamp ie the input gain range?
It depends on the pickup you have in your guitar currently. Give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can get you a for sure answer.submitted5 years ago

I need to adjust the level going out of a 100 Watt amp to speakers. Can this handle that level of power? Or if you have any suggestions. I can't seem to just find a volume control box for Speakers. Thanks
This will not accommodate what you are looking for
