So easy!
I was a bit apprehensive about installing this myself. Not being mechanically savvy I was skeptical about the 'just a screwdriver' to install it. But it was true. I loosened the strings on my GSmini and took them out of the bridge (not off the tuner pins) and the ES-Go just snapped right in. The endpin also went in easily and had extra screws just in case. I found the snap inside to hold the cord and in a matter of maybe 15 minutes I was again playing my guitar but now with amplification. It's truly a no brainer, just follow the instructions and you're electrified!

Great for adding ground loop hum to any song
Product installs easily and functions poorly. Every GS mini I've played that has an ES go has a bad hum-same as mine- and you will too unless you plan on shelling out an additional $300 for a preamp with ground loop interruption. I had the grounding kit sold by Taylor installed to try and alleviate the problem, but there is still an infuriating hum. Taylor told me it was because my amp wasn't grounded- which also seems to be the case for every bar or music hall's system I've plugged into. Bottom line, buy a real pickup and save yourself the time, money, and heartache of having a beautiful guitar that sounds like trash live. I love my Taylors, but this is a bad product.

Easy to install. Just loosen the strings and pop it in. Removing the end pin was simple too. Makes my GS mini ready to be plugged in.

Very easy to install took all of 15 min. I play through a Marshall Acoustic Amp. Found no hum or noise issue ,( like previous reviews.) Would recommend to a friend.

Installation was a snap, which was why we selected this for my teenage son. Nicely designed from that perspective. But it's sensitivity to electromagnetic interference is so bad that it's unusable for us. The Fender amp that we want to use it with is dead quiet with an Epiphone LP, and even quiet with my open coil Jazzmaster. But plug in the ES-GO, turn on the fluorescent lights, and the hum is intolerable. Similar noise when plugged into a Peavey Bandit. I verified grounds in accordance with Taylor's tech videos. I called Taylor and asked for help, and the polite tech admitted that this pickup is susceptible to EMI and he wouldn't recommend it for performing. Wish I knew that before I bought it.
