This really is a beautiful guitar. The guitar is everything they say it is for comfort, playability and quality. This will be my last purchase. I've always wanted a Taylor guitar from the first time I ever heard one.

I already own a Taylor 214ce which I feel is one of the best ~$1,000 acoustics one can purchase. I liked it so much I decided to step up to the 414ce V-Class Special Edition and was absolutely blown away! Not only does it feel, look, and sound better, but it's certainly worth the almost triple price upgrade. I mainly use this guitar for song/voice recordings as I am a vocalist on top of my musical aspirations. It won't be too long from now that I eventually upgrade to an 814 or better!
Beautiful instrument

I use this primarily as a finger picking instrument with occasional pick playing/strumming. It is such a beautiful instrument and so lovely to play. Action is perfect and the fretboard feels great (better than the other 414 special edition IMO). Plenty of volume but not over the top. Taylor guitar really shine in their ability to sustain each and every string and for them to sound distinct even when played together. This one does not disappoint in that regard. No negatives, if you can afford it this is a perfect guitar for beginners-professionals
This is a fantastic instrument.

I've been playing since 1964 (I'll let you guess why), and I've been playing in bands since about 1967. I bought this guitar to replace my beloved 1976 Martin-D28, whose neck (even after a reset) became unplayable within the last ten years or so. This guitar (except for the neck) is made out of the same rosewood/sitka combination as the Martin, and sounds fantastic right out of the box. I can't imagine how good it will sound after a few years! The biggest plus is neck playability relative to the Martin. It just blows the older Martin's away, although I must confess I've not tried the newer Martin's with adjustable truss rods. Anyway, I'm happy.
