A great guitar

The 324 is an terrific entry point into American made Taylors…the all solid wood mahogany (and yes, back and sides are once again solid mahogany as well) has huge, clear projection and plenty of low end for a grand auditorium body….yes, you could probably perceive something a bit more "mellow" sounding about the mahogany tone if you played it right next to a spruce top guitar, but it's still plenty bright on its own, and has all the warm, full mids you could want…the word I really think fits it best is "balanced." Any chord, any position, any voicing, sounds full and robust... Like all Taylors, the neck is exceedingly comfortable and the playability is 10/10. I haven't even gotten mine setup yet as it was so smooth to play as-is off the wall…and the satin finish looks both sharp and sleek. I also love the black tuners, and tuning stability has been zero issue for me... If you're considering a solid wood Taylor, please put this one on your list to try out…it's really a great instrument and highly recommended!
