Taylor Guitars | World-Class Taylor Craftsmanship In Every Guitar

The Taylor 110ce Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar brings a renowned playability and tone to players at an accessible price point. With the 110ce, Taylor pairs their patented ES2 pickup system with a layered wood construction for amplified tone that accurately captures your natural acoustic sound. The guitar's torrefied sitka spruce top responds evenly across the tonal spectrum with a broad dynamic range, while layered sapele back and sides provide a balanced foundation. The comfortable neck profile and 15" radius fingerboard make the 110ce ideal for fingerstyle players and flat-pickers alike.
Revolutionary ES2 Pickup System Captures Your True Acoustic Tone
The ES2 pickup system lets you plug in without compromising Taylor's signature acoustic sound. Three strategically placed pickup sensors behind the saddle accurately convey the guitar's lush overtones and crisp articulation. The ES2 preamp gives you intuitive volume, bass and treble controls right on the guitar. Whether you're on stage or in the studio, the ES2 system transports the 110ce's balanced tone directly to the PA or interface with the natural resonance intact.
Sitka Spruce Top Responds Evenly Across the Frequency Range
Taylor torrefies the 110ce's solid Sitka Spruce top to enhance its tonal balance and articulation. The torrefication process improves the wood's resonance and sustain for more volume and fuller tone. Sitka Spruce's natural stiffness and flexibility create an even response across the tonal spectrum. You'll hear sparkling highs, pronounced midrange and tight low-end from both picked and strummed passages.
Layered Sapele Back and Sides Provide a Sturdy Tonal Foundation
The layered sapele back and sides offer a stable tonal platform that projects the 110ce's sound outward. Sapele creates focused midrange punch to cut through the mix. Its warm lows and clear highs complement the sitka top. The layered construction makes the guitar more impervious to climate changes and everyday play. Whether recording or performing, the 110ce delivers Taylor's renowned acoustic tone consistently in any environment.
Easy Upper Fret Access With Cutaway Design
The 110ce's cutaway gives you easy access to the upper frets, enabling advanced soloing and melodic lines. The contoured body shape fits comfortably against your torso, facilitating intricate fretting. The slim neck profile also makes navigating the 110ce's 20-fret ebony fingerboard feel fast and fluid. The cutaway expands your creative range, letting you reach those high notes with accuracy and intonation.

Taylor dropped the ball on this one

I ordered this online and I have to say that I'm disappointed with it ! I have played several Taylors in the store, in the past, and they have all been fantastic ! So I figured this one would be the same . WRONG! The string action is so high that it is barely playable. Shame on Taylor's QC for letting this get out the door ! I'm taking it to my nearest store to see if they can correct the problem or replace the guitar . I've owed Yamaha's and Ovations that were roughly half the price or less and the both played 10 times better ! The Good : The sound is still good and it came with a nice case.
This is one of the best sounding guitars I've ever played

After playing a little over a year I decided to get myself a new acoustic for my birthday. I decided on this because of how good it sounded in the store and the playability was much better than my first cheap acoustic. I have had several people compliment the sound of this guitar.
Great guitar!
