This guitar looks and sounds beautiful especially when plugged in to an amp. It is amazing. It is not too quiet and not too loud, it's perfect. I really like how the pickup is made by takamine. Overall this was an amazing purchase for a great deal!!!!

I have had no trouble with my GC5CE Classical guitar. I am new to guitar playing. I have played this guitar everyday for over a month and it has worked great. I have read where the G5 series of Takamine is inferior to the higher priced Tak's. This guitar is as good as any guitar I have played. I also have a Big Baby Taylor guitar that I have trouble playing because of the 1 11/16 nut width. I am glad I went to a classical. The GC5CE has made the difference.

Does this have Nylon or Metal strings? If nylon, can this be switched to metal? This is a surprise for my husband and I don't know much about guitars. Thanks!

This has nylons and shouldn't be switched to steel. This model is made for nylon strings
