The TC Helicon VoiceTone E1 puts immersive, studio-quality echo and delay effects right at your feet. This compact stompbox packs 12 types of delay, from classic slapback to rhythmic echoes timed to your song's tempo. Whether you want to excite your vocals with hypnotic echoes or deliver clear, dry banter between songs, the VoiceTone E1 vocal effects pedal delivers.

Shape Classic Echoes and Delays With Ease

Dial in the perfect vocal echo for your song with the VoiceTone E1's versatile effects. Select from two flavors of slapback, ideal for rockabilly and country. Set rhythmic delays to the tempo with tap, dotted and triplet timings. Or bathe your voice in ambient washes with the E1's lush echo algorithms. The E1 makes it simple to sculpt feedback and delay mix to suit your needs. Additionally, for responsive tone shaping, engage the smart filter control to subtly limit EQ bands.

Ultraclean Mic Preamp

The E1 boasts a transparent mic preamp that preserves all the nuance and detail of your vocal. Its wide frequency response and low noise floor ensure excellent reproduction. The preamp's high headroom means you can use dynamic, ribbon and condenser mics without overload distortion. Plus, with 24-bit A/D conversion, the E1 captures your voice's natural character. So, you'll always come through the PA or monitors with exceptional clarity.

Take Hands-Free Control

The VoiceTone E1's groundbreaking Mic Control lets you turn effects on and off using the thumb switch on compatible TC Helicon mics. Now, you can kick in lush echoes for a chorus or strip back to dry vocals to chat with the audience—without taking your hands off the mic. When using multiple VoiceTone pedals, independently control each one from the mic. Or, turn all your effects on or off at once. Mic Control ushers in a new era of hands-free flexibility on stage.

This product both sounds and works great. Not much to discuss because it is so easy to use. Iove to use it as an effect on certain songs. It is easy to manipulate between songs BUT and it is a big BUT here, I have owned 3 of these in the past 6 years. I play 3-4 times a week and keep it in a box when traveling. I do not spill junk on it and it is not used as a fastball.....and yet they break. They just stop working. No it's not the adapter. I have a few laying around now. Every couple of years I have to purchase a new one. Not worth sending back at the price point. There is nothing else on the market quite like it. Other with more bells and whistles but also more headaches. So here I am again, buying another one. 5 Stars for Sound and ease of use. One star for durability....this is basically a stomp box for your voice. I have an Ibanez Tube Screamer I purchased in 85 and have never had to do anythiing to it but tighten the screws on the jacks. How about it TC? can you make one of these that lasts? Now a buddy of mine does the same thing I do with mine exactly as stated above. He has already gone through 2 in the past 3 years. So it's not me folks.

Excellent delay for vocals on my home studio recordings. I have tried several delays and for the price, this does what I need and fullfills great sounding delays in my vocals. My condenser mic goes into E1, then to channel strip and insert it into mixer and output mixer channel to recorder.

Pretty good effect quality and easy to use. My band was able to dial in a nice delay that everyone liked for our singers. Only down side is that it does thin out the sound by adding too much treble that everyone noticed. You can adjust your EQ to minimize that, or in our case we are running that signal through a tube vocal pre-amp to warm up the quality. But I must say the singers love the effect itself, really does make the vocals sound more professional. Regarding quality of build, its plastic. But unlike guitar stomp boxes, we don't anticipate stomping on it for every song, so hopefully it will last.

If you chain this pedal in front of a Mic mechanic pedal and then use the TC helicon mic will the mic button activate just the first pedal or both?

You would have to activate them both individually.

When you set delay time (using tap), will the unit remember the last delay time after being powered off? (That is, can I set a delay time at home and use later while performing?)
