Description
The TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay pedal opens up a world of captivating delay effects for your pedalboard. With three independent stereo delay engines, each equipped with 12 different delay types to choose from, you can conjure up everything from basic echoes to otherworldly soundscapes. Configure the three delays in series for cascading textures or set them in parallel for lush ambience. The dedicated subdivision knob lets you dial in rhythmic subdivisions, like triplets and dotted eighths, for each delay. Four TonePrint slots give you the flexibility to load up customized delay presets designed by top guitarists. An expression pedal input allows real-time manipulation of delay parameters. The Flashback Triple Delay integrates seamlessly into MIDI rigs thanks to its MIDI input. Unleash your creativity with the infinitely inspiring tones of the TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay.
Craft Complex Delay Textures With Three Independent Engines
At the heart of the Flashback Triple Delay are three independent, stereo delay engines that each offer a choice of 12 different delay types. You get essentials like digital delay, analog delay, tape delay and reverse delay, as well as more exotic flavors like sweep delay, dynamic delay and auto-volume delay. With the dedicated engine selector knob, you can instantly switch between the three delays to create evolving soundscapes. Run the delays in series for cascading repeats that build in complexity or configure them in parallel for ambient layers of delay. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Each delay engine also has its own dedicated set of Time, Feedback and Mix knobs, giving you deep control over every nuance of each delay's sound.
Add Rhythmic Interest With the Subdivision Control
In addition to being able to craft rich delay textures, the Flashback Triple Delay also lets you introduce rhythmic variations to your delays. The dedicated Subdivision knob allows you to set specific rhythmic subdivisions - like triplets, dotted eighths and more - independently for each delay engine. This opens up creative options for crafting delays that interlock and weave around each other in syncopated polyrhythmic patterns. Whether you're seeking to build hypnotic atmospheres or want to add subtle rhythmic motion to your delays, the subdivision control provides an intuitive way to make your delay tones more dynamic.
Load Your Favorite Artists' TonePrints
The Flashback Triple Delay features four TonePrint slots, allowing you to load up presets designed by famous guitarists. With the TonePrint app, you can access delay TonePrints made by Steve Morse, Guthrie Govan, Misha Mansoor, John Petrucci and many other top players. Their custom delay tones, configured specifically for the Flashback pedals, can be loaded into the four slots on the Triple Delay. This gives you an extensive palette of artist presets to work with. Or you can use the TonePrint app to create your own delay presets dialed in to your personal taste.
Integrate Seamlessly Into Any Rig
With its stereo ins and outs, an expression pedal input and MIDI connectivity, the Flashback Triple Delay is designed for seamless integration with any setup. Use the expression pedal to control delay parameters like Time and Feedback in real time. The MIDI input lets you sync the delays to external MIDI clock sources. Whether you want spill-proof reliability for the stage or deeper sound design flexibility in the studio, the Flashback Triple Delay has you covered. Overflowing with lush delay tones and rhythmic possibilities, this pedal unleashes your creativity.

It Broke

It broke within a year. Customer support seems to be non existent. It's been 2 days and have heard nothing. I liked the way it sounded. However it is very difficult to use. You need to plan ahead if you play live. Good luck trying to recreate something you had if you change things.

This pedal is outstanding! It is very easy to dial in tones, so much that I have not yet needed to go into the Toneprint app (I have had this since March). I have mine set at 1) quick delay, almost slapback, so that I can play fast distortion solos without getting muddy; 2) longer delay for Pink Floyd type of solos; 3) dotted eighth for U2 tytpe of solos. I have those settings memorized, and occasionally I change the settings on the pedal to fit specific songs. I feel that those settings will cover most situations I have come across while playing, though. This is really like having three delay pedals on your board. Amazing

Great Pedal - TonePrint Programming is a chore!

First, the pedal is great! I love it! I recommend it! Replaced a DD7 with an external TapTempo. This provides a LOT more functionality in the same space. (Still use the DD7 as a slap back / reverb kind of thing) True bypass is smooth. Not a lot of noise on switching on/off. I like being able to cascade the three delays for some very cool effects. I really like the tape delay. Highs roll off well - great tape feel. I purchased it to have a better decay selection when playing live. It does that incredibly well. Only drawback is the TonePrint programming. There are so many features that are only available via the editor. I get it there are many choices. But, the documentation is horrific. iPad and iPhone programming don't work well. I had to use my Mac. Better documentation is desperately needed. BUT . . . It's a 5 star unit!! Fight through the programming. It's worth it!
