TC Electronic
Description
The TC Eletronic Corona Chrous is your go-to pedal for all your shimmering and warbly goodness. With two different chorus settings (the classic world-renowned TC Electronic SCF pedal and a TriChorus) and a custom TonePrint setting, Corona Chorus will stand by you no matter what situation your playing might bring you in.

Corona Chorus features Speed, Depth, Color and Level controls, true bypass design, a small footprint, analog-dry-through, easy-access battery hatch and is built from the highest-quality components.

The SCF Chorus is TC Electronic's legendary chorus pedal, which came to market over 25 years ago and is still and industry standard to this very day, due to its incredible dynamic range and lack of noise.

The TriChorus housing in Corona Chorus gives you access to a great sounding effect which consists of three chorusses working at the same time. Working best in stereo, the relationship between the three chorusses can be manipulated for some truly stellar chorus effects.

Corona Chorus offers great chorus tones right out of the box, but the knobs are specifically designed to allow you to tweak to your heart's desire. The Speed knob lets you dial in anything from slow 80's chorusing to fast leslie-like sounds, while the Depth knob sets how intense the sound is going to be. The Tone knob allows you to dial in the chorus exactly how you like it- from dark and vintage to pristine TC shimmer to a sound that really punches through the mix. And finally, the FX Level determines how much of the effected signal is added to your dry sound.

But there is more to Corona Chorus than meets the eye. It's called TonePrint. Via a simple USB-connection, TonePrint allows you to download custom tunings made by your favorite guitarists straight into your pedal, easy, free and fast. A vast and ever-expanding roster of the finest guitarists alive are working to give you their custom TonePrint settings.

An Amazing Chorus Without Breaking the Bank

TC Electronics hit a home run with this one. This is the chorus for people that do not like chorus pedals. I've never been much of a chorus user until this bad boy came out. It's compact, built solid, and the toneprint feature allows me to get new sounds without buying a new pedal. I've had it for a few months and it hasn't left my board since. If I had one criticism, it would be the LED not being bright enough. It can be seen on dark stages but you'll have some trouble with outdoor day gigs. Besides that I have zero complaints. It even solves that "mid hump" that a lot of chorus pedals have. Don't hesitate to give one a test spin.

Just Not For Me

It wasn't a bad pedal. It just didn't have the fidelity I expected of a TC product. I had it next to my MXR Stereo Chorus and the TC was adding some sort of deep muddy overtone that I just could seem to dial out. It was subtle, but still there. There's also a "flangerish" sweep that I could hear even when the FX level was set very low. Although it doesn't make quite as many different sounds as the TC the MXR is just a more professional sounding pedal in my not so humble opinion. I returned the TC.

I used to play professionally, but now I just like to strum at home for fun. I tried the tone print and Andy Summer's had his 'Walking on the Moon' chorus available. I beamed it right to the pedal from my iPad and Voila! there it was! This pedal is a lot of fun. You can't go wrong with it.

As you would expect from TC Electronic, this is a great pedal. Sounds very transparent through both clean and distortion channels. Well done!
