TC Electronic Blood Moon Phaser Pedal

TC Electronic Blood Moon Phaser Pedal

TC Electronic

Description

The TC Electronic Blood Moon Phaser effects pedal brings back the classic phaser tones of the 1970s in an intuitive stompbox. With its all-analog circuitry and vintage 4-stage filter, the Blood Moon creates lush, swirling textures perfect for guitarists looking for those iconic '70s phaser sounds. Its intuitive controls let you dial in everything from slow, silky swooshes to fast, alien warbles with ease. True-bypass switching and a rugged metal chassis make the Blood Moon ready for the stage or studio. And with its blood red and black color scheme, the Blood Moon has the vintage vibe to match its classic tones.

Harness the Power of Analog With Pristine Clarity

Staying true to its retro roots, the Blood Moon phaser utilizes a 100% analog signal path for organic, textural phasing free of sterile digital processing. Low noise circuitry maintains exceptional clarity as you experiment with more extreme settings. Compared to many newer phasers, the Blood Moon has a uniquely warm, woody quality that adds richness without muddiness. And thanks to the rugged metal chassis, it will hold up to years of pedalboard duty. The Blood Moon gives you the heart and soul of a vintage phaser in a thoroughly reliable package.

Shape Your Sound With Intuitive Controls

The Blood Moon makes it easy to craft your perfect phaser tone thanks to its straightforward control layout. The Rate knob adjusts the speed of the modulation from a relaxed, dreamy pulse to a frenzied oscillation. Crank up the Depth control to make the effect more dramatic and pronounced. The Feedback knob is where the magic happens—it feeds the filter's output back into itself, creating intense resonances that add jagged pitch shifts to your playing. Whether you're looking for silky phase or extreme warble, the Blood Moon phaser effects pedal puts total tonal control at your feet.

Vintage Styling Matches Classic Tones

One look at the Blood Moon's blood red and black color scheme tells you this pedal means business. The visual vibe perfectly matches the warm, organic phasing inside. While the tones take you back to the '70s, the Blood Moon's controls and switching give you modern convenience. For guitarists who want enormous phase textures without the hassle of fragile vintage gear, the TC Electronic Blood Moon Phaser effects pedal delivers iconic sounds in a road-ready stompbox.

It's ok. Not bad but i would recommend another one.

I have used this product extensively like 1 week ago and i have to agree with most of the reviews up there: Pedal has cosmetically looks great, big knobs, uncommon color, etc. However, when you turn it on, it does boost A LOT the volume, which can be a problem with rhythmic parts or arrangement, but for solos should be good. The effect is not versatile, it cannot sound smooth at all, it has so much depth and speed. I would only recommend it for solos and to do some weird noises, but not for any other use as a regular phaser.

  • This pedal sounds like it came from Mars

This pedal is very easy to use. Just plug in a power supply and a guitar and you're good to go. The Blood Moon is outstanding on its own with a variety of great tones just with simple adjustment. You can get sounds like a rotary speaker on one end of the spectrum to what sounds like noise coming from Mars on the other. It works well with other pedals as well and can get some killer sounds when you add a tremolo and a digital delay in front of it on your board.

I returned this. It wasn't terrible but wasn't what I wanted, maybe that's my fault. I wanted something subtle and this isn't that. It seems to color the guitar tone with more highs and it has a noticeable volume boost. The sound was fine and many people may like it but it wasn't going to work for what I wanted.

  • Solid product for a cheap price

It's a sturdy phaser with a limited number of options. The price tag is too good to pass up if you're looking for a solid effects pedal to add to your collection

Good pedal if you want a light phaser sound. It doesn't get very aggressive with the phaser part but does what I wanted just a little bit here and there.
