I tried vocals and acoustic guitar through this mic and it sounded muddy with no top end. It also feeds back like crazy and smells like chemicals. I tested this against a couple other dirt cheap nady vocal mics and I was shocked how much better the nadys sounded without feeding back. The volume level of the tascam mic isn't great either. I would take almost any mic over this one. Save your money and get an sm58...or other quality mic. I returned the tascam it sucked.
