Used this stand on a gig the day it arrived without any reservations. Excellent stand. Smooth as silk. Stable with 14" med/hvy hats. Compact. Build quality top notch. Can't see how it could be improved. Lighter than my Canopus hi-hat stand...which will be for sale.
