Description

The Classic Pedal takes a sophisticated path to simplicity, to stimulate joy and provide comfort for its player.

Due to their simple, user-friendly nature and natural feel, vintage pedals have remained popular in modern times, when technology and innovation abound. While incorporating great practical features from vintage models, TAMA designed this pedal with their up-to-date engineering and years of product research and development.

The streamlined footboard was carefully designed, with great attention to detail, so that it is easy to use in any playing style. Inspired by some vintage pedals, we developed a height adjustment mechanism that precisely strikes the center of the head on a range of bass drum sizes. And above all, its weight balance achieves a very natural feel and response, while still delivering power and nuance. This comfortable feeling allows that player to forget about the pedal itself and instead focus on playing music, naturally inspiring joy and creativity.

Wanted a light pedal to use at home and rehearsals. After researching yout*be and the internets I was hoping for a classic pedal with a modern feel. …but it definitely nostalgic all across the board. I was expecting an iron cobra-ish feel but it reminded me of the old Rodgers pedal I used in high school jazz band. If you want to convert your Tom into a kick drum and make a cocktail kit, this is a cool pedal for that; just don't expect it to have the smoothness and rebound of a modern pedal.

  • Perfect for use on a small bass drum

Works great with my 16 in Ludwig Breakbeats kit. Very adjustable for use with a smaller bass drum or a larger one. Light weight and fast.

  • I love the Classic Pedal.

It looked like a Rogers pedal. Not made as sturdy. Doesnt have the power. The beater ball is a joke. In my opinion.

  • I would recomend this product to everyone.

Very nice foot pedal. I have to get use to playing on the 18" ' Gretsch bass drum. There is a different feel from playing on a 24" Tama bass drum.
