I use the Tama rhythm watch for live shows. I had the first generation for years and loved it. This new model features buttons to advance or go back in tempos and you can save up to 20. Very useful feature during live shows because you can easily find your saved tempos for the set. I also like the the buttons are easily laid out and easy to find and press, especially on dark-lit stages. Durable and solid! I recommend this metronome over any others! #sweepstakes

I bought this to help keep me in time with my drumming. My daughter and I both have used it in our practice. It is nice to adjust the volume for beats, different notes and triplets to get the timing you want.

  • We are happy with this purchase, and you will be, too.

The ability to program up to 30 tempos in a specific order makes this metronome perfect for gigs. When set in "stage mode" you just touch START and get 8 seconds of the song tempo. Then the Rhythm Watch stops and automatically advances to the next song's tempo so you can just hit START for that tune. Works great and mounts on your cymbal stand so you can put it within easy reach but out of your way.

  • Helpful for the student.

I use the product in practice environment. I'm teaching myself what differing rhythm patterns sound like. I'm using it to find the BPM's of my favorite songs. This is an easily configurable device.

  • This was a great update from the previous model.

Use it to practice both hand drums and a drum set.

Is it possible to change the sound/pitch of the clicks? And has anyone found the current clicking sounds to be distracting or irritating?

    Open Reply - Ronald
Via the sound button you can change them from low pitch to high pitch. Beyond that I don't believe you can change the sound.
