Description

For many drummers, traditional hi-hat clutches have been a source of frustration when trying to change hi-hats quickly. Quick-Set Hi-Hat Clutch (QHC7) is the complete solution to this ever present problem. It offers a one-touch lock & release simply sliding a switch on the bottom nut. At the same time, this switch prevents the top hi-hat cymbal from loosening while playing. Due to its unique shape, the upper nut is designed to make the top hi-hat cymbal float more freely, maximizing its natural resonance.

*The Quick-Set Hi-Hat Clutch can be used with other manufacturers’ hi-hat rods measuring no more than 7 mm in diameter.

    Excellent hi hat clutch. Great ease of use and quality. I would recommend this to literally anyone who plays drums and likes to change their cymbal sound.

    What took so long for someone to come up with this. Set-up and tare down time is cut in half for the hi-hat. No more trying to figure out which end of the nut to start threading and no more time screwing the nut on or off, period. Once you get it adjusted to where you like it, you just slip the collar and felt on and slide the latch to the lock position, and your done. I've used it on several gigs now and haven't had to adjust it since I first got to where I liked the feel of the hats. BTW. it does have a slightly different feel without the felt on top. Time saving, covenant, ingenious design and it works great.
