    I use this for a 12" rack tom and a 16" floor tom. The stand for the 16" wobbles a bit, but this mounting device stays in place and holds it well.

    Bought this adapter to mount my 10" tom and splash cymbal onto a boom stand, and it works so well. Didn't face any issues with the adapter slipping off due to the weight of the tom. Adjusting the tom is as easy as pie, whether you want the tom to be closer and farther from you.
