Not too much to say other than "I love Tama hardware" and this is no exception. Eliminates a cymbal stand. I use it to hold a ride cymbal where my 12" tom would be.

I bought this so I could mount an 18 or 20 crash ride on an L-rod that is on my bass drum. Instead of my 12" tom I have the 10" tom on the left L-rod and the CYA5E on the right L-rod. This is super solid and is great for either my 18" crash or 20" ride. This saves space. I couldn't be happier.

Good for mounting a small splash/crash off a boom, or tom holder if you have the L type. I had another clamp that only mounts to your stand with a longer L rod but I could never find the right spot to use it so I bought this and ditched that other stand clamp. Now I have options with the short and long L-rods plus this one is more adjustable to position since if goes off a boom.
