This is a nice stomp box. I like to use the Fat Suga alone in front of a low watt tube amp to provide some depth and just a little bit of growl. The boost is very subtle - just a little bit of overdrive. Even with the dial maxed out, there isn't enough boost to get things too muddy or rowdy. The built in reverb is nice as well. There seems to be a fairly wide range of useable reverb in both the room and hall settings. It's not remotely as dynamic as a Holy Grail or Hall of Fame obviously; but it does provide a warm bit of ambiance. Personally, I like to dial in just a little bit of reverb (in either setting) and then leave it alone - perfect for a small class-A amp that lacks a built in reverb. In front of a Champ 600 or a AC4-TV, this pedal is awesome. It softens the boxiness that comes with small combo tube amps and gives them just a bit more bite. ll in a nice clean, simple package. I really like this one.

I saw this online, and watched the review videos, it sounded interesting, so I picked one up on the way to gig tonight. I told the sweet girl behind the counter that if this thing stunk, I'd be back at 10:00am to give it back.... Well, let me tell you, I don't usually get all gooey over a dopey guitar pedal, but this thing just exploded my tone. I play a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop through a fender 59 Reissue Bassman. I use a Wampler Extacy drive for my dirt, Boss Delay with a Booss EQ. With this in front of it, the Goldtop just sounded like the voice of God. the whole setup just sang... Like an Aria. The reverb is sweet, and the one knob design is perfect. Give it a shot, you can always bring it back if it's not for you... I'm keeping mine...
