I have been pining for a digital piano in a baby grand case for years. I'm an amateur/casual player, but wanted the satisfaction of an instrument that sounded and looked great. I cannot afford the kind of baby grand it would require to get that sound, much less maintain it the way required. A digital piano seemed like a great choice. After considering options more/less expensive than this Suzuki, I went with it. I've had it a week now, and I love it. The action is adjustable, and it sounds great. Sure, it's not a Steinway, but for a casual player like me who does it for fun, it's perfect. I sound fantastic playing this. No slightly flat notes, no weird string twangs - just smooth musicality. I've noticed already that my playing has improved, as I get real music from this without any of the imperfections of my old upright grand. Plus, it looks fabulous. It is every bit as solid and heavy as a real baby grand, but just enough shorter to fit better in my living room. I feel like a maestro playing this, and I haven't even begun to get into the other bells/whistles with recording, Midi control. etc. I just love playing and hearing beautiful music come out of this thing. It's a great instrument for a person who enjoys playing, wants great sound, but doesn't want a temperamental instrument that needs tuning and humidity control. Bonus that it doesn't look like a cheap Casio on a hinky stand sitting awkwardly in your corner. This can be a centerpiece, and look classy and sophisticated.

My sisters and I purchased this to give to the assisted living facility where our father lives. It is in memory of our mother. We are going to have people come in a night or two a week for brief concerts. We also use an iPad to play music. It is located in a big living room where residents come to talk, work puzzles and other things. They love to listen to music and I love to hear them sing along.
