Its Growing on me

I researched this Keyboard for a while and decided to buy it online, an open box item. I usually would try a keyboard in store before I buy but I decided to give this one a try based on the price and reviews. Initially I was very underwhelmed. The acoustic piano sounds are mediocre, the electric pianos are ok, organ and synth sounds are good. The unit is plastic and has some cheap touches especially at the back but looks good overall, feels sturdy and the keyboard action is great. After a few days, I realized how flexible this board is. The organs sounds authentic and the drawbars are awesome. The pitch and modulation sticks are great for real time control over the synth sounds. Sound set can be updated from the website and app (new acoustic piano sounds included). Some of the sounds can be tweaked and layered to sound really great. The Audio over USB is an excellent feature, you can transfer audio to and from the unit and computer without a separate interface. It also makes a fine keyboard controller for Garage Band and other virtual instruments. I was gonna return it for something else but It is now growing on me. I like the fact that it is not a common board and its priced right. I have only had it for a couple weeks and have yet to gig with it but feel it would look and sound great on stage. Overall, so far so good
Love it!

Great feature set for the price. As a 30+ year pro musician - producer, performer, orchestrator (Logic and Finale), etc. it had all I was looking for. A keyboard controller I could pick up and take to a gig with a few nice sounds. Manual could be translated better, but it does exactly what I need. Internal speakers may seem like a consumer feature, but I love being able to walk in and play with no headphones, software, computer boot, sound system.... Aftertouch is important if your sound library uses it, and most leave it off. Feel is great, lightweight, 88 keys, organ tone bars, easy layering, effects and eq, DA conversion from DAW...the list of great features just isn't found on other keyboards/controllers in this price range. Five stars isn't for being best keyboard on market, but one obviously designed by music pros and at a great price point.
