Will this work with a Arturia KeyLab 88 mk3 88-key Weighted
The MP-117 MIDI Pedalboard should work with the Arturia KeyLab 88 Mk3, but it depends on how you plan to connect and use them. Compatibility Considerations: MIDI Connections: The MP-117 sends MIDI data via a 5-pin DIN MIDI Out. The KeyLab 88 Mk3 does not have a MIDI In port, only USB and CV/Gate. Solution: You’ll need a MIDI-to-USB adapter (e.g., Roland UM-One or similar) to connect the MP-117 directly to your computer. Standalone Mode: If you want both the MP-117 and KeyLab 88 to control the same virtual instrument (e.g., in a DAW), connect both devices to your computer separately via USB. In your DAW, assign the MP-117 to the bass notes and KeyLab 88 to the melodic parts. Using an External MIDI Host: If you want to play a hardware synth without using a computer, you’ll need a MIDI host device (like the Kenton MIDI USB Host) to bridge the MP-117 to the KeyLab 88 Mk3 or an external sound module.submitted3 months ago

I'm looking for a device to play a bass sound while I am playing the guitar. Does the Studiologic MP-117 Midi foot controller include a bank of sounds or does it have to be connected to another device? Also how will it connect to my amplifier. This is for a simple garage band application.
You would need to get a foot controller for it, but give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can get you everything you need to get this setup how you need it.submitted6 years ago

what is needed with this unit to actually use it as a Taurus Pedal Eg. Geddy Lee/Rush. My old Mini Moog Taurus needed the Keyboard. Can you Unbox and play right away.Eg. just plug it into an Amp??
You would have to use software with it to get it to work, but it would work with almost every software out today so that shouldn't be the hard part. They have a lot of rig rundown style videos on YouTube that can walk you through the process and give you an idea of what you would need to get.
