Strymon

Description

The Strymon V2 Deco Tape Saturation & Doubletracker delay effects pedal adds warm dimensionality and luscious tape saturation to your signal. Teleport the tones of yesteryear to your board and effortlessly create a huge range of beautiful, distinctive and enveloping vintage sounds. Your journey begins with the early recording studios of the ’50s and ’60s, as well as the introduction of reel-to-reel tape machines. From the inherent warmth and luscious tape saturation to the forgotten art of how these machines were manipulated, the Strymon Deco V2 brings this original inspiration back, giving you these vintage tape effects from the earliest recording studios, right on your pedalboard.

The Tape Saturation smooths out your sound with familiar and delicious tape compression and saturation, while fattening your tone with subtle tape-driven transparent overdrive. The Doubletracker provides the power to shift your sound in many ways, easily allowing you to achieve syrupy slapback tape echoes, psychedelic tape flanging and gorgeous tape chorusing sounds.

This pedal has quickly become the most used pedal on my board. The amount of different sounds and generes it can cover is incredible, and it's extremely easy to dial in any tone I want. If you are in the edge, I would definitely recommend picking this pedal up.

I've used the Deco v2 on acoustic and electric guitars. Everything sounds better through the Deco. I adjust the saturation to my tastes for each instrument. Love the sound.
