Putting Together a Guitar Pedalboard with Nicholas Veinoglou

Description
The Strymon BigSky delivers the pinnacle of reverb technology for guitarists and musicians looking to push creative boundaries. Boasting 12 studio-quality reverb machines in a single stompbox, the BigSky opens up a world of lush, dramatic textures for guitar, keys, and more. From subtle sonic enhancement to vast, ambient landscapes, the BigSky covers an incredibly wide range of reverb types with stunning detail and musicality.
12 Legendary Reverbs in One
The BigSky features 12 reverb machines such as plate, spring, hall, bloom, cloud, echo and more. Ranging from classic staples to complex, otherworldly reverbs, each machine was crafted for maximum realism and musical inspiration. Select reverb types using the type knob, then shape your sound with adjustable decay, modulation, tone and parameter controls.
Infinite Sonic Possibilities
With so many world-class reverbs in one pedal, the creative possibilities are truly endless. Dial in the cavernous shimmering hall for ambient pads or a surreal non-linear reverb for guitar. Activate infinite sustain or freeze for complex sonic layers. Save and recall your favorite sounds with 300 preset locations, allowing you to get lost in the creative process.
Simple, Intuitive Controls
Despite its vast sonic capabilities, the BigSky is designed for intuitive operation on the fly. The uncluttered control set allows you to easily adjust multiple parameters at once, while dedicated type and value and menu knobs provide direct access to the heart of the pedal. Save and recall presets with your foot via the two-button preset select, for seamless transitions in a performance setting.

If you need epic reverb or ambient reverb, along with modulation control and other parameters, The Big Sky will get you there. The only other reverb that comes close is Eventide's Reverbs out of the box. This review is based on synthesizers from the Roland 303 to the Waldorf Iridium.
