Hang up your axes...

It surprised me how much weight these babies could hold.. The String Swing Wall Hangers are great for displaying your prized guitars on the wall away from all harm. One of my guitars, a Washburn Dime 3, is considerably heavy.. However, this wall hanger supported the weight, amazingly and I've had no problems with it yet. Great product.

great but one problem...

does its job, holds my guitars on the wall. looks nice with the wood. but i have noticed that when my guitar sits on it over night my strings go out of tune. they all become very sharp.

i decided to buy these hangers after reading a lot of reviews and YouTube videos. When they arrived, i was still a little skeptical about the strength of the bolt that holds the hanger to the base. i needn't have been. They thread up nice and snug and secure! It will hold even my heavy Les Paul Standard. The pieces that allow you to mount it into sheetrock/drywall look quite substantial and may work for a lighter weight guitar, but i used heavy screws to attach a board to the wall and then used the included screws to mount the hanger base to the board. The included screws aren't really long enough to go through the base and sheetrock and still have enough thread to really get a good purchase into the stud behind the sheetrock, so, if you choose to do that you should use longer screws. i hung two rows of guitars, staggered, and, if you do that, you'll want to use boards like i did to get appropriate spacing, especially for acoustic guitars. Love these hangers! Will try to post a picture of what i did.

I highly recommend getting these Wall Hangers!! It is very easy to install and it secures my guitars well. I got them with the Bumpers and it is just a little extra security as we use our babies. The price is right also...

I used longer screws than it came with, not as great as other wall hangers but, cheap as f**#.

What is the weight limit for this wall hanger? Also does it come in black foam on the hanger grip ?

I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available. It'll hold a double neck but I wouldn't hang anything else but a guitar. It's just the brown.

Someone mentioned using this wall hanger warps the guitar neck. Is this a problem that occurs over a long time? I am very interested in purchasing these hangers but not at the risk of damaging my instruments. Thank you very much.

I'm not sure how it would. The way it's cradled it has the weight of the guitar going downward, to bow it you would need excessive force pulling down on it at an angle. That being said, it could warp due to fluctuation in temperature or moisture.
