Excellent value!!

You can't find a more versatile guitar at this price point! It's great for hard rock all the way to clean jazz. I swapped out the tuners (as I usually do with every guitar), and set it up to my liking. It's now one of my top 'go to' guitars for live and recording. The neck is effortless to play, and the frets are smooth and even. The pickups are subjective...I like them for their darker tone, but you may not. Swapping them out would be a breeze anyway. Overall, Sterling hit the jackpot with this one!
Great for the price!!

Well, for the price, you can't go wrong! I'm not sure you'll find a more versatile guitar at this price point. The pickups are fairly warm and dark...which I like. The neck and fretboard are easily playable and smooth. Yes, you'll need to swap out the tuners (they're horrible), but again, for the price you can't go wrong! The five way pickup selector is money! This is an awesome feature. So, overall, money well spent!
Poor tuners & pots

Gorgeous, BUT almost impossible to get an accurate tuning. The tuners SUCK, they freeze up, then there's a huge amount of lack, think of the furthest thing from micro tune. The pots, like the tuners get stuck, the volume is kinda gritty and hard to turn from say 4 to 6. Returned. Sounds good, looks great, but too many issues with those cheap tuners and pots. .
A great Guitar for the money

Its a good looking guitar and feels great . The sound of harmonics through the stock pickups are bright and clear . The best way to describe the pickups are to compare the sound to some of Boston songs a tiny bit of nasal sound but over all very pleasant. But the thing that really sticks out is how well this Guitar stays in tune. And the funny thing is when its starts to sound sharp or flat just hitting the tremolo in a short dive can bring it back into tune or closer anyway.

This guitar shows listed as open box. What does that exactly mean? Has it been used or is their some minor damage? I am interested in this guitar but don't want to buy it if their are issues.
That means there are minor signs of use, but nothing drastic or anything that will affect the way it plays.Open box is a used item. Blemishes are slight and do not affect the tone or play ability of the instrument.submitted6 years ago

Can you give me details on the blemish? Where is the blemish and how bad is it? Thank you!
Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what the blemish is. However, it would only be a minor cosmetic flaw and would not effect the guitars play ability.submitted6 years ago
