While this might be a "budget" guitar as compared to the EBMM Majesty, the price is definitely higher end. That being said this guitar doesn't disappoint. I played it for a half hour right off the wall. When a guitar feels that comfortable off the wall with no personal set up done, I know it's a go. Beautiful fit and finish especially, the craftsmanship feels great. The signature DiMarzio (these are in his JP, NOT Majesty. The Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker are in the EBMM.) pickups are fantastic with some rip roaring gain. I have an EVH 5150 stealth LBX. The clean tones however are just "ok". This is where the piezo would be clutch but at $2k more… Overall this guitar is great from a creativity, playability, versatility perspective. I also feel it should have a hard case not just a gig bag. But…my limited EVH Sassafras ($1,799) had no case OR bag. The cost…that's up to you guys.
