Description

The Sterling SM5 Microphone Shockmount frees medium-body (1.2" to 1.7") studio microphones from unwanted ambient rumble, vibrations and other noises. It’s sized for mics that are wider than most "pencil" microphones, yet smaller than conventional “large” mics. The sturdy elastic bands keep microphones safe and secure, no matter which position they’re in, while the aluminum/zinc design and a premium automotive-quality titanium finish provide rugged construction that will last for years.

  • Guaranteed fit for Sterling ST31, ST33, ST44, ST131 and ST170 (not for SP131, SP30 and other mid-size body mics)

    For my applications with the Sterling ST170 this shock mount was necessary, It works great, & conveniently fits a couple other mic's as well "Not at the same time". It is compact, fits in relatively small spaces compared to the larger, large diaphragm mic shock mounts. I would say get a couple of these as you may be suprised by the uses you can find for it with mics.

    I was amazed when this arrived today. I thought for the price, it would be cheap plastic. NOT SO. This is a very nice METAL Shockmount. I am quite happy with my purchase.

    Using this shock mount for Home Recording, fits my Audio Technical perfectly. Holds onto the mic well. Came with an extra set of bands, which was nice.
