    Songs mixed down using recording software end up quiet, flat, and dead. This takes your mixed down audio track and inserts up to 4 more effects, including dithering for cd burning(you will need to read the manual for what dithering is). 4 effects doesn't sound like much, but you can master-compress, master-eq, and brighten up a dead mix. And the dithering brings the overal volume up to the industry standard. *** The provided mastering effects are sub-par. If you have not already gotten some upgraded plug-in tools or Direct-x effects, I would highly suggest it. I prefer Timeworks Mastering Compressor.
