Description
The Stage Ninja Scorpion Series MIC-12-CB mount, with its industrial-steel clamp, and 12" 360-degree modular gooseneck, is designed to position a microphone in tight or unique situations.. It is perfect for podcasts, live recording, schools, churches and anywhere you need a mic and have a surface where a traditional base would slide off or take up too much space. Ten inches of scorpion flex stays where you position it. The industrial-steel, tension-loaded 6" clamp base with dual step, anti-mar jaws opens to just over 2″ and helps it grip tightly to flat surfaces without leaving marks. This makes it easy to mount on equipment, hardware, trussing, doors, mantels, desks, podiums, etc. Not only does the MIC-12-CB clamp to objects, it also works as an excellent stand on any flat surface. The MIC-12-CB comes with a universal 5/8" thread mount to fit most mic clips (with 3/8" sold separately). The Scorpion Series completely eliminates the need for bulky stands and mounts, and enables you to set up fast anywhere. It is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty.

It wasn't strong enough to hold up my mic without bending. Emailed owner and he was very nice and receptive and said it should hold up to a 2 lb mic, but for some reason it couldn't hold my 10 ounce mic...?

I usually never review items, but this one is worth it! It is incredibly strong and durable. If you purchase multiple items you can take them apart and extend the length of one. I use four to mic percussion.
