I would buy this again in a heartbeat
I love it. I bought the kit for me to catch up on playing again. It plays good and with minor adjustments to it she plays great. I practice David Gilmour style and it has exceeded my expectations. I changed the pickguard to a three ply black and used GHS Boomer strings and it sounds so good. I discovered that the amp with it is good for a rhythm guitar and has a bite to it in distortion. I bought a Fender Mustang LT25 amp for the effects and its the perfect pair. I recommend this for the starter guitarist.

For online orders: Watch out- what is in the picture for this pack is not what you get. The amp in the pics for this pack is the 15G, but what comes with is the 10G (smaller, lower quality product). Extremely upsetting that the photos included in an online order do not reflect what you pay for. On top of that, customer service was instantly defensive when I pointed it out. The rep I spoke with said she would set up a callback for a supervisor to follow up. That never happened. I wanted to give them they benefit of the doubt and the chance to make this right (open to suggestions on how they could) but they missed their chance. That said, my issue is not with the product itself. This pack is great for beginners. I would advise to purchase from Fender's site, where you will know exactly what you are paying for. If you want to a great value pack but don't want to feel scammed, buy and shop through Fender directly.

great guitar when starting out

besides the weird booming sound coming from the amp when strumming, and the guitar constantly being out of tune. i would suggest this to a friend when starting out. however if you have more prior experience, get a better guitar and amp than this one. other than that, the price is somewhat equal to the quality of the guitar.

I absolutely love this guitar! It came with everything I needed to get started including the online fender lessons! I have been playing for a couple weeks now, it surpasses my expectations! First guitar I ever picked up and it has been awesome so far!
Guitar is great, amp blows.

The guitar was better than I expected, didn't really have to alter anything and it has a pretty nice clean tone. Sadly, the amp had to be sacrificed for the quality of the guitar. It sounds terrible and makes a horrid exploding noise when played with any gain or high volume. Bottom Line: I would recommend to a friend, but with caution

New to playing guitar. Started out trying with an acoustic guitar. But when my teacher allowed me to try the electric he was using, I found it easier with the electric. Asked him for a suggestion for a beginners electric guitar and this was one of the recommended guitars. And the pricing was well within my budget. I enjoy playing it.
