Great bass

Bought this bass October 2009. Changed the strings to 105 Fender 7250. Adjusted the neck to my liking as well as string and pickup heights. I have performed many times over the last 15 months without any problems. Also recorded a CD and it sounded great. Two months ago I changed the stock pickguard to white. I bought a MIM jazz bass 2 months ago, but I find myself liking this Squier more. Price aside, this is a great bass, it just must be set up to your style of playing. There is not much difference between my Squier and my Fender except the price.

This is not a rookiee bass. I bought this bass for my b-day last year and LOVE it. Its a good heavy solid bass. Pickups aren't as loud as my previously owned ibanez, but this bass blows the ibanez out of the water. I play mine everyday. Best Investment I made.

I just got this bass this morning and I already love it. I never want to put it down but the problem is I have to it's so much heavier than i prefer but that's the only problem it has the tone of an american standard jazz bass. The pickups are great. I highly recommend it for anyone.

I bought this bass a few days ago. I'm a new bassist and didn't really know what to look for. I looked at many basses and choose this one, and I'm glad that I did. This is a great bass at an unbeatable price. This bass isn't just for jazz either. I play rock and it sounds great. The effects with it are just awesome. I would highly recommend this bass for anyone who wants or needs one. Any experience would love this bass. By the way the color looks a lot cooler in person. It really shines and it is a lot more bright and outstanding in person.

I got this bass back in july and I have to say it is an amazing piece of equipment! The action is very smooth you get great tone, and the look is exsquisite. you get some minor hum from the pick ups after a few months of heavy play, but it isnt anything annoying, over all I recomend this bass to professionals and begginners alike

This was the first bass I ever bought, actually the only one. It wasn't what I went to get though, but I grabbed it off the stand, plugged it in and fell in love. The fretboard is perfect for me nice smooth action. I was happy with the sound, but I never used the bridge pickup so I took it out and now only have one neck jazz pickup. But all in all, this bass is perfect for first time players, or veteran players. 5 Stars. I will def. be buying more squiers.
