I've owned a lot of guitars from every price point. I bought this for fun and to modify. This guitar sounds and plays just as well as any custom shop I've ever had and all it needed was a 10-minute set up out of the box. The neck pickup is FAT and the bridge pickup is crystal clear AND has plenty of grit when you hit the gain. The knobs feel a little crunchy but that's easy to fix. Zero fret issues, no buzz, action at .04-.05, 10-46 strings, intonation was dead on. The neck is interesting because it has zero lacquer, just bare sanded wood. It feels nice, just different.

i bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and i started to tune it up myself, the neck feels phenomenal and i thought about keeping the guitar for myself… the guitar looks quite great on display and im sure he will really like it as he was looking for something to upgrade occasionally.

I purchased this to just practice and mess around with. If it drops or gets dinged I won't stress like I would my expensive guitars. This guitar sounds amazing for the price! The action was perfect, no buzz or anything. The pickups I got are slightly hotter so great on my amp, but still clear warm and some bass. Even when I play unplugged laying in bed it's twangy pound and resonates great! I'm actually surprised by this guitar! For the price this plays and sounds better than I could imagine. Now your results may vary, I'd recommend going to store and try before you buy. Only complaint is tone pots scratchy but that's easy fix. Sane with neck. After getting set up professionally this guitar on par with any branded fender.

This is a great beginner guitar. Frets are well done, no fret buzz. Action is at a decent height. Tuners work very well and hold tune really good. Pickups are decent, they sound good no hum not microphonic. All around very good guitar.

Is the routing on this guitar large enough to install humbuckers in either location? (with a different bridge and/or pickguard, of course).
No, it isn't.submitteda year ago

Am I able to attach a whammy bar to this guitar?
Anything is possible but it would take a lot a work. It's not designed for it.submitted2 years ago

Will all fender parts fits this guitar? Example an authorized fender pickguard? Will Guitar Center do a full set up after purchase if requested? Thanks NL
There is no assurance "all" parts will fit. The guitar will be set up by Squier, in the factory. A set up, after purchase would be an additional service.
