This is a surprisingly solid and very built instrument. Fit and finish super. Neck is a pleasure, ...smooth, ...and nice to look at as well. It is great to play with quite good performing pickups. No complaints. Way above its price point. Love gunmetal finish. Must be seen in person.
Pretty good guitar for the money

I'm an intermediate guitar player, so take that for what it is. For what I do know, this is a fantastic guitar! I've had it for about a year and I love everything about it. Looks great, feels great, sounds great! I have the tan/gold color, and it looks very close to the photos.
Great product I'll be purchasing another one soon

I bought this model guitar because I heard one of these played at a bar. This guitar sounds unbelievable! The highs the lows the clean sound and the heavy sound. It plays just as good. Great playing neck, stays in tune. Great guitar for the money. My only question is how long until with a lot of playing will the electronics last.

Purchased one of these in the gold color used for about $300. Tons of value for the money. The neck is fantastic & the roasted maple is beautiful. Pickups are pretty good, definitely seem a little hotter than a typical tele, but that's not a bad thing - dialing back the volume slightly still gets great clean tones - neck pickup sounds sweet. The gold color is not a brilliant shining gold, it's more subtle (almost butterscotch, but not quite) - however that's what I like about it, and it looks great. The gold color as shown in the photos is pretty spot on to how it looks in person. I'll be displaying this one in my office over my Fender American Strat just because of how much I enjoy looking at it. The only con I can think of is that the frets may require some smoothing down in a couple spots, however any sharpness I've experienced with mine is minimal - nothing a good setup from a proper shop can't fix. Even at the new price, this is an all around win for Squier & the player who chooses it - I was never a big believer in Squier guitars, but this one has me changing my tune. Based on the price and value for the money, this is a 5 star guitar.
