Like this guitar. Looks great and lots of good hardware and features. Went with this one over the players series and I'm glad I did. Bridge is nice. I got the blue one and it actually comes with a black whammy bar not white. Nice this about this pickguard is that if you change the humbucker to a non fender it will fit no problem unlike the fender hss humbuckers that have two screws on the top half. Very happy with this guitar and would recommend to anyone look for a good value on a strat. No reason to spend big money when this will do the trick
One of Fender's best. No modifications required.

One of the best Fender products I've ever played or owned. The pearl white finish is deep and gorgeous. The 12" radius (much more "contemporary" than 9.5") satin neck is smooth and fast, and the rosewood fretboard flawless. All of the parts work well and do not feel cheap - especially the tuners, saddles and two-point tremolo bridge. The pickups produce a wide range of tones. I really like the single volume and tone knobs, and even the factory installed strings are high quality. As is typical with new guitars, the truss rod needed a little adjustment, the intonation was a bit off, and the action was way too high for me, but that's it. The frets, however, are definitely not jumbo - more like medium thin - which I prefer. This is a spectacular value right out of the box, especially when GC has a sale. Modifications are optional, not required as in many less expensive models. Amazing! Great job Fender!
Great guitar for a beginner, inter, or advanced (with upgr)

I bought this guitar because of the color and how it sounded and played. You'll want to buy a new output jack as it became loose and the connection became poor after a couple months, some locking tuners, and maybe a bridge. Other than that it sounds great for the price. It's a copy of what Fender tried to do to copy Charvel (before they bought them) in the 80s. I wish there were more tonal options from a second knob, but it doesn't make it less fun to play. It's also a full sized strat and that means you can more easily use Fender parts with minor or no modifications. The tone is surprisingly good considering what I expected from this price point. The parts I replaced so far were the bridge, output jack, tuners, string trees, and strap buttons (for locks).

I purchased this guitar online purely on specs, particularly it having a 12" neck radius and jumbo frets. I was not too concerned about the pickups since I usually replace them anyway. When the guitar arrived I was disappointed to find that the frets were not jumbo, as advertised. They are medium at best. Outside of that aspect the guitar was set up well and only required minimum intonation tweaking. The frets were well dressed and smooth. The pickups sounded fine at this price point. The guitar plays well and is a great value. It's a great platform for mods.

According to fender store only the black guitar has a rosewood fret board.
Both of the finishes we carry have a rosewood fret board.
