Fantastic bang for your buck!
I read good reviews about the Bullet Telecaster. I plan on doing a couple upgrades, but out of the box, it has a fantastic sound. Does not feel as well made as my Fender Jim Root Telecaster, but it is definitely fun to play and has the classic "Fender sound", which is the reason I bought it. I have an Ibanez Gio that also has great sound, but it's HH, so the sound is different. The Gio also seems to be a bit better made. Both the Squire and the Ibanez cost me about the same amount. If you are wanting to try a Telecaster and are looking for the "Fender twang", but don't want to spend a bunch, this Squire has what you need.

These guitars do not have string through the body bridges. I bought three, they all have top mount bridges. I wrote a review three weeks ago but Guitar Center did not put my review up. Go to Fenders website and you will see Bullet Telecasters no longer have string through the body bridges. GC needs to fix this ad.

Looked at Teles for while. Wanted something different from humbuckers. Tried it out as soon as it arrived. Pleasantly surprised by the playability and sound. Neck and intonation were good. Adjusted action. Plays and sounds great. Will probably upgrade hardware. Great value.

I bought this guitar cause this was a cheap version of my dream guitar. It's quality is so good it has become my dream guitar. It plays well, reaches the 21st fret and feels really well made.

Using mainly for practice, wanted the Tele sound because some of what I play begs this sound. Actually could not believe this was a cheaper guitar , not a blemish anywhere and even the fret edges are smooth. Just a quick tuneup and I was playing like I owned it for years. I have two Squire guitars that play and sound great , as good as my more expensive Fender model that was three times the cost. Guitar Center always does a great job getting products to me quickly and in great condition.

In the last few yeasrs I have bought several Squiers, from Bullet to Classic Vibe, and unfortunately had to return every single one due to quality issues, This one, although hesitant to buy due to my previous experience I desided to try one time. I am glad I did. Is it perfect, no, but it is pretty good. Plays well, sounds OK, asnd looks great. Perfect for future moding.
